I started using computers from the days of MS Dos, my 1st computer didnt even have a hard drive. As developed Windows and became popular, I still missed Dos and didnt like Windows as much. People told me to try Linux but I never did, mostly because I thought it is only text based and I got used to GUI.
After all these years, I downloaded a few running live CDs to check things out, wasn’t too impressed. Then downloaded a Gentoo 2004.3 LiveCD and Installed at my work machine using the Gentoo manual and thats how I learned my way through linux. I told my self was: Where was I all these years?!
Needless to say, its my primary OS now and it works nicely on my AMD64 machine at home. I can’t see my self going back…

Even though I’m a die hard motorsports fan, I didnt get to see my first live F1 race except this past weekend. The mishaps that happend made some drivers go home sad, but made the race a lot more entertaining. It was great & Definately worth the early wakeup
